JOH will switch to fully Open Access

Starting September 1, 2017, Journal of Occupational Health (JOH) will become an open-access journal (OAJ). For manuscripts originally submitted on or after the date, the copyrights of manuscripts will remain with the authors even after their acceptance for publication in JOH. The copyrights will remain with the Japan Society for Occupational Health (JSOH) for manuscripts submitted prior to September 1, 2017.

In regards to the charges related to the publication in JOH, for manuscripts submitted prior to September 1, 2017, the authors are responsible for additional-page charge of 10,000 yen per page for any papers with more than 6 printed pages and color-page charge of 70,000 yen per page.

For manuscripts submitted on or after September 1, 2017, article processing charge (APC) of 60,000 yen (80,000 yen for non-members of JSOH) will be charged upon acceptance of manuscript for publication in JOH. Additional-page and color-page charges are waived for such papers.
